The temperature-vs-stiffness relationship of bitumen is dependent on the type of crude oil and its refining method. Bitumen penetration grade 110/10 is hard .penetration grade

The relationship between temperature and hardness of bitumen depends on the type of crude oil and its refining method and the degree of permeability of bitumen is 110.10 between 0.8 to 0.12 mm. Bitumen with hard permeability and as a heavy  used for insulation of industrial pipes.
